I Have a Dream by Lawrence CH Hiun
O my God,
Give me a wonderful dream,
Hope for a successful dream
Give me the best dream.
I have a dream
Now,
Tonight,
Tomorrow,
A dream within a dream,
Dream of guardian angel,
Dream of seeing myself,
Being success and happy.
I have a dream
Dream of heaven
Dream of success
Dream of happiness
I have a dream,
A Dream to become
What I want to become,
Dream of my coming
I have a dream,
Dream to freedom
Dream of enlightenment
Dreaming endlessly.
Lawrence CH Hiun
Give me a wonderful dream,
Hope for a successful dream
Give me the best dream.
I have a dream
Now,
Tonight,
Tomorrow,
A dream within a dream,
Dream of guardian angel,
Dream of seeing myself,
Being success and happy.
I have a dream
Dream of heaven
Dream of success
Dream of happiness
I have a dream,
A Dream to become
What I want to become,
Dream of my coming
I have a dream,
Dream to freedom
Dream of enlightenment
Dreaming endlessly.
Lawrence CH Hiun
This poem shows everything there is about the American Dream. The first two stanzas show that striving for success is needed and that dreams can come up at any time in life just like when Lawrence CH Hiun says "I have a dream now. Now. Tonight. Tomorrow." It shows that dreams are there at any point in life and within reach. These dreams can be anything that people put their minds to whether it's heaven, success, or happiness as Hiun says in the poem. Also, this poems shows that in the end, being successful will lead to being happy, which means the American Dream has been accomplished. But will then lead to a new dream that will need working on just like the last one because dreaming never stops.
